Blueprints for Online Marketing and How We Use Them to Build Members Niche-Sites

High quality hosting and a WordPress site built for a member’s niche,

are among the thousands of digital marketing assets available to members of IMBuyersClub.com.

There are a couple of ways the site can be built.

One way is the one chosen by most other online marketers: Find a suitable domain, a nice-looking theme, write or curate some content, slap on some ads and wait for visitors to find your new site. Maybe with a sprinkle of social media sharing for attraction.

The odds for such a site to generate any income are not extremely high (even if it IS possible depending on the niche).

To increase the odds for members of IMBuyersClub.com to make money online from their sites hosted on our premium hosting, we propose to build the site according to a special blueprint.

Before I go into the details about this blueprint, we should start with the very first step, the base for any business, online as well as offline, the question every marketer have to have the detailed answer to.

1. Who are your customers, your MARKET?

This quote from the “Godfather of Internet Marketing”, Ken McCarthy, is evergreen:

The most important decision you’ll ever make when starting a new business is not what product to sell, not what headline to use, not which super-duper Internet marketing technique to employ…It’s this:  “The battle is won or lost on Day One…when you pick your MARKET.” Successful marketing is not so much about WHAT you market or HOW you market as it is about WHO you choose to market to. If you get the WHO right, everything else will fall into place.  If you don’t, not even the greatest marketing in the world will help you. The ‘WHO’ is the market you choose to sell to.  And here’s the rest of ‘the secret’…  ‘Some markets are hard and some markets are easy’.  If you want to make maximum money in minimum time go after ‘easy’ markets.  What do I mean by an ‘easy’ market?  ‘Easy’ markets defined ‘Easy’ markets have the following three characteristics. They are:  1) Easy to reach  2) Have a burning ‘need’ for what you’ve got, and 3) Have demonstrated through past behaviour ability and willingness to spend money on the kinds of things you plan to sell  The closer the market you choose corresponds to this description, the easier your marketing life will be.

You will learn more from this book than from most high-ticket online courses

When you have identified your market, you should find the “pains” in that market to decide:

2. What will you offer them (what will you be “selling” them) with the help of your new site, that will reduce or eliminate their pains?

3. The keywords/questions your target market use/have when they search online for solutions to their “pain”?

Having come that far, it will be fairly easy to find:

4. the three biggest competitors for those keywords (sites that rank well and are offering the same as you, or other solutions to the market’s “pain” keywords/questions)?

(disregard Wikipedia, Amazon, and other “portal” sites)

This is a particularly important step and we make use of a Niche Research Topic Sheet to help us get it right.

5. The information gathered up until now, I can put into the machinery of our secret (and expensive) tool: “The Digital Marketing Toolbox” (a part of Network Empire Framework) that will generate an initial set of blueprints for your site:

5.1. A deeper Online market analysis,

5.2. More detailed research for keyword-evaluation,

5.3. A Website silo architecture blueprint,

5.4. A Content template architecture blueprint

5.5. A Persuasion architecture (how to convince the market to buy from you and not from the competitors)

Network Empire – Digital Marketing Toolbox – Blueprint

Having those blueprints before we start to build out your site, will make it much easier to decide upon the design of the site (e.g. a “News-style site” or a blog, or a combination).

Alternatively, we can skip all the above and just create a site as most other online marketers do, by installing a theme and putting some content we believe might fit.

The decision is yours. However, if you follow the blueprint model, you can use this repeatedly for your other sites and also for your clients. You will get the reports from the Niche Topic Sheet and the Blueprints from Network Empire Framework, with a special discount for members of IM Buyers Club.

The special offer for Network Empire might still be valid if you want to grab it yourself.

In separate posts, I will present:

  • The technical parts (themes, plugins) of the site-building
  • How and where to get content (the initial content and content on a regular basis)
  • Monetization
  • SEO and syndication

P.S. I just got saw this from Matthew Woodward where he promotes a similar strategy to steal competitors best keywords using Google sheets. It’s a much more manual process and only a small (but important) part of what the Digital Marketing Toolbox will do for you.
