The Speed of Web Pages Matters

The hosting provider, 20i.com, powering the hosting packages included for IMBuyersClub members, is not on Matthew's list. However, during the build-up of the Kadestack product, and now also the tests made with Chris Derenberger's YT Evolution, I gathered enough experience to compare our hosting, provided by 20i, with Matthew's.

You can see a typical result from a test with GTmetrix of a YT Evolution page hosted on a Linux Unlimited club-hosting package. Granted, it's not directly comparable to Matthew's test, but especially the TTFB still gives an indication of the quality of our provider.

As you can see, both TTFB (34ms) and Page Load Time (0.4s) would put this page at the top of the list of the 12 hosting providers in Woodward's article.

Hosting packages included in IM Buyers Club membership

After the successful test with a YT Evolution install on a subdomain/subfolder to a site on a Linux Unlimited hosting package, I can now, with high confidence about the quality, announce that one more hosting package will be added to the three already included in your IM Buyers Club membership.

Our hosting provider, 20i.com, has now made their Stackcache optimization service and plugin available also on WP sites installed on Linux hosting packages. The main difference between the dedicated WordPress hosting is now only the direct access to some WP-admin functions from the Stack ControlPanel.

The existing difference in the number of domains that can be built sites for remains in place. One domain with no add-on- or sub- domains (except for extra domains mapped into a WP multinetwork site) on the WordPress Multi One package and unlimited add-on- and sub- domains on the Linux Unlimited packages (on which sub-domains and add-on domains are handled in the same way).

With this technical background, you can now freely mix and match your four packages between the WordPress Multi One and Linux Unlimited packages.

Your total savings for the hosting alone with this new set-up is up to 40$ per month (>$60/month if bought directly from 20i)

Regarding the software packs, you can select the pre-installed themes and plugins on Kadestack site and the YT Evolution which can be installed on either WordPress Multi One or Linux Unlimited (on separate sites, of course). That is an additional saving of more than $2000 in one time costs, and >$300/year in licensing costs.

The promised Silo blueprint installation is still on hold due to the ongoing updates of the Digital Marketing Toolbox.
